For adding multiple keyboard layouts for multi-language input.
Install fcitx5-im and set fcitx
to open on system startup.
Edit the environment config file located in /etc/environment
and add these lines:
GTK_IM_MODULE=fcitx
QT_IM_MODULE=fcitx
XMODIFIERS=@im=fcitx
Install fcitx-mozc, then add the mozc keyboard from within fcitx.
For the japanese font pack install noto-fonts-cjk.
